Position Summary :
Business HR
Roles & Responsibilities:
A. HR Business Partnering & Strategy
- Aligning business objectives with employees & management in designated business units
- Preparation of Manpower Plan and Budget in line with business requirement
- Conducting weekly meetings with respective business units; consulting with line management,
providing HR guidance when appropriate.
- Conduct Cross functional team analysis and deep dive to find out the gap areas to identify the
key focus areas to add value to the organization
- Creating HR Strategy and solutions in line with Business Strategy, Vision, Mission and Values
- Industry Benchmarking and implementation of the best practices, Benchmarking of roles and
Org Structures of Competitors
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough and
objective investigations.
- Preparing SOP’s, communicating and educating employees as & when required
- Single Point of Contact for all Employee related issues
- Drive R&R, Engagement, awareness, Goal setting across organization
B. Capability Building
- Identification of high potential talents and grooming them to handle bigger roles
- Training needs identification process linked with PMS
- Leading T&D initiatives for BU in coordination with COE and HODs
- Deliver Key trainings on PMS workshops, Coaching, Feedback skills, Setting Smart Objectives
etc
- Plan and implement succession planning and skill enhancement initiatives
- Competency-based development programs on both Functional and Behavioural basis
(Prepare competency mapping for Engineering &IT function and gap analysis to hire and
develop the required capabilities)
- Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale,
and increase productivity and retention.
C. Organization Development Initiatives & Employee Engagement
- Revision of existing policies and introduce new policies in line with the Business requirements
as & when required
- Implementation of skip-level department meetings
- HR Connect with employees to understand the pulse
- Facilitate leadership connect interventions
D. Performance Management System
- Ensure timely completion of confirmations and appraisals for on roll and off roll employees
- Derive KRA/KPI for all unique Positions of the BU based on the BSC
- Ensure timely closure of PMS and goal setting process
E. Recruitment & Resourcing
- Responsible for the entire life cycle of the employee – Recruitment, Employee Central, On
Boarding
- Co-ordination with department heads for creating Job Descriptions
- Recruitment through LinkedIn, naukri.com, referral etc,
F. Employee Safety, Compliances and Audits
- Preparation of Various SOPs/Guidelines in line with the Govt notifications
- Handle ISO Audits pertaining to HR function
- Ensuring compliances across sites and offices.
G. Contract Staffing
- Responsible for end-end HR process for contract resources spread across India
- Internal mobilisation and deployment based on the project requirement
- Monthly MIS and payroll input processing
- Annual increments and KRA reviews
- Annual audits
- Grievance handling
Requirements:
1) A good understanding of business and industry
2) A relevant BHR experience of 5-8 years
3) Excellent working knowledge of PowerPoint and excel
4) Should be read to stretch (if required)
5) Excellent knowledge and understanding of labor laws
6) Good communication skills with multitasking ability
7) Open to travel to site location will be an add-on
