Job Summary
Cogitation Works is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Business Development Intern to join our team for a 3-month internship in Ambur. This is an excellent opportunity for students and recent graduates to gain practical experience in lead generation, client communication, market research, and sales. High-performing interns may be considered for a full-time role.
Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new business leads through online research and outreach.
- Connect with potential clients via phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels.
- Schedule meetings and product demonstrations for the sales team.
- Conduct market and competitor research.
- Maintain and update lead information in the CRM.
- Follow up with prospects and nurture client relationships.
- Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and quotations.
- Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to support business growth.
- Prepare weekly reports on lead generation and sales activities.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree (BBA, B.Com, MBA, Marketing, or related field).
- Excellent communication skills in English, Tamil and Hindi as added advantage.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and Google Workspace.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, eager to learn, and target-oriented.
- Ability to work from the Ambur office.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of CRM tools is an advantage.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn and digital prospecting.
- Basic understanding of sales and marketing concepts.
Internship Details
- Duration: 3 Months
- Location: Ambur, Tamil Nadu
- Work Mode: On-site
- Stipend: ₹5,000
- Working Days: Monday to Saturday
- Working Hours: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM
