We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor cum Animator to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong skills in video editing, motion graphics, animation, and AI-assisted video creation. This role requires someone who can bring ideas to life through engaging visuals, smooth edits, creative storytelling, and modern video techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit videos for social media, corporate films, promotional videos, reels, event highlights, product videos, and digital campaigns.
- Create engaging motion graphics, animated titles, transitions, lower thirds, infographics, and visual effects.
- Develop 2D animations and basic character/product animations based on project requirements.
- Use AI video editing tools to enhance workflow, create visual concepts, generate assets, improve edits, and support creative production.
- Work closely with the creative, content, and production teams to understand briefs and deliver high-quality video content.
- Add music, sound effects, voiceovers, subtitles, and color correction to enhance the final output.
- Ensure all videos are aligned with the client’s brand guidelines and project objectives.
- Manage multiple video projects and deliver work within deadlines.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in video editing, motion graphics, animation, AI tools, and social media content formats.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of video editing and storytelling.
- Experience in motion graphics and animation.
- Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and related creative software.
- Knowledge of AI video tools such as Runway, CapCut AI, Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, Kling, Pika, or similar platforms will be an added advantage.
- Good understanding of social media video formats, reels, YouTube videos, corporate videos, and ad creatives.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
- Good eye for design, timing, composition, typography, and visual flow.
- Ability to handle feedback and make revisions quickly.
Experience:
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in video editing, animation, motion graphics, or a related creative role.
Agency, production house, or digital marketing experience will be preferred.
Qualification:
- Degree or diploma in Film, Animation, Multimedia, Visual Communication, Graphic Design, or a related field is preferred.
- A strong portfolio or showreel is mandatory.
