We are seeking a highly experienced Cardiothoracic Surgeon along with an established surgical team to join our hospital and strengthen our advanced cardiac care services. The team should be capable of delivering comprehensive cardiothoracic surgical care, including pre-operative evaluation, surgical intervention, post-operative management, and critical care support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of cardiothoracic surgical procedures, including Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG), valve repair and replacement, congenital heart surgeries, thoracic surgeries, and emergency cardiac interventions.
- Assess patients, review diagnostic investigations, and formulate individualized treatment plans.
- Provide comprehensive perioperative care, including pre-operative consultations and post-operative follow-up.
- Work collaboratively with cardiologists, intensivists, anesthesiologists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
- Lead and manage the cardiothoracic surgical team to ensure seamless patient care and optimal clinical outcomes.
- Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, patient safety standards, infection control practices, and quality benchmarks.
- Participate in multidisciplinary clinical meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and surgical records.

- Cardiac OT Nursing Staff
- Cardiac ICU Specialist/Intensivist (preferred)
- Post-operative Cardiac Care Team
Qualifications & Requirements:
- M.Ch./DNB in Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery (CTVS) or equivalent.
- Valid medical registration.
- Demonstrated experience in performing complex cardiothoracic procedures.
- Established and coordinated surgical team with proven clinical expertise.
- Strong commitment to patient safety, quality care, and clinical excellence.
The ideal candidate should bring a well-trained and coordinated cardiothoracic team capable of delivering high-quality cardiac and thoracic surgical services while supporting the growth and development of the hospital's cardiac sciences department.
