JOB SUMMARY:
The General Manager cum Admin is responsible for the overall management and coordination of all departments within the company, including Production, Inventory, Purchase, Designing & Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Human Resources. The GM ensures that departmental activities are aligned with the company’s strategic goals, approves major departmental decisions, and forwards key matters and documents to the Directors for final approval. The GM acts as the central authority for operational efficiency, compliance, and inter-departmental coordination.GM overseeing daily operations, developing and executing business strategies, managing financial performance, and leading teams to achieve organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Overall Leadership
- Manage day-to-day operations across all departments.
- Ensure smooth coordination and timely output.
- Monitor performance based on company goals, KPIs, and KRAs.
2. Decision-Making & Approvals
- Review and approve departmental plans, budgets, and proposals.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Escalate key matters to Directors for final approval.
3. Department Oversight
- Production: Ensure quality, efficiency, and timely delivery.
- Inventory: Monitor stock levels and warehouse management.
- Purchase: Approve vendors and procurement strategies.
- Design & Marketing: Oversee product design, branding, and campaigns.
- Sales: Monitor strategies and ensure target achievement across all channels.
- Finance: Supervise budgeting, cost control, and compliance.
- HR: Oversee hiring, training, performance, and HR policies.
4. Financial & Compliance Management
- Monitor profitability, cash flow, and financial performance.
- Ensure statutory compliance (GST, TDS, PF, ESI, labour laws).
- Support audits and report financial insights to Directors.
5. People Leadership
- Guide and mentor department heads.
- Ensure clear roles, KPIs, and accountability.
- Support recruitment, performance management, and staff development.
- Maintain discipline and a positive work culture.
6. Risk & Compliance
- Identify risks across operations and implement solutions.
- Ensure legal, safety, and workplace compliance standards.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration / management and master’s degree in business administration
- Maximum 12 years of experience in management, preferably in apparel or manufacturing sector.
