Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, well-groomed, and customer-oriented Restaurant Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our guests. The ideal candidate will manage reservations, welcome guests, coordinate seating arrangements, and ensure a positive dining experience from arrival to departure.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a warm and professional manner.
- Manage table reservations through phone calls, walk-ins, and online booking platforms.
- Coordinate guest seating and maintain waiting lists during peak hours.
- Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries regarding reservations, events, and restaurant services.
- Assist guests with directions, special requests, and general information.
- Coordinate with service staff to ensure smooth guest flow and efficient table turnover.
- Handle guest feedback and escalate concerns to management when necessary.
- Maintain an organized reception area and ensure a professional appearance at all times.
- Support event and banquet inquiries by collecting guest information and forwarding leads to the sales team.
- Maintain accurate records of reservations, guest preferences, and customer information.
- Assist with billing support and other front-office duties when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 12th Pass; Graduate preferred.
- 1–2 years of experience in hospitality, restaurant reception, front office, customer service, or guest relations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Pleasant personality with a professional appearance.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with reservation systems and POS software.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in restaurants, cafés, lounges, hotels, clubs, or banquet venues.
- Strong phone etiquette and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to remain calm and courteous during busy service hours.
- Fluent in Hindi and English.
