Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Dental Assistant to support dentists in advanced clinical procedures while ensuring smooth day-to-day clinic operations. The ideal candidate should be confident in patient management, instrument handling, sterilization protocols, and mentoring junior staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex and specialty dental procedures.
- Lead and supervise junior dental assistants.
- Ensure proper sterilization and maintenance of instruments and equipment.
- Prepare treatment rooms and manage procedure workflows efficiently.
- Coordinate patient appointments and treatment schedules.
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
- Monitor inventory and ensure timely availability of dental supplies.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and quality standards.
- Provide guidance to patients on pre- and post-treatment care.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a Dental Assistant.
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization standards.
- Excellent communication and patient-handling skills.
- Leadership abilities with a team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced dental clinic.
- Diploma/Certification in Dental Assisting is preferred.
