ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for a performance-driven Digital Marketing Executive to own our D2C website revenue channel (shop.ajjas.com) end-to-end. You will plan, execute, and optimise paid campaigns on Meta and Google Ads, improve website conversion rates, and be directly accountable for D2C sales targets. This role sits within the Digital Marketing team and reports to the Marketing Lead.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
D2C Website Revenue & Conversion
▸ Own monthly D2C revenue targets for shop.ajjas.com
▸ Track and improve website conversion rate (CVR), add-to-cart rate, and checkout completion
▸ Identify and resolve drop-off points in the purchase funnel using Google Analytics / Hotjar
▸ Coordinate with the product/tech team on landing page optimisations, A/B tests, and UX improvements
Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram)
▸ Plan, set up, and manage Meta ad campaigns (Awareness, Traffic, Conversion objectives)
▸ Build and refresh ad creatives in coordination with the design team
▸ Monitor campaign health: CPM, CTR, CPC, ROAS, frequency — and take corrective action
▸ Manage audience strategy: custom audiences, lookalikes, retargeting segments
▸ Maintain pixel health and ensure accurate event tracking (Purchase, AddToCart, Checkout)
Google Ads
▸ Manage Search, Shopping, Performance Max, and Display campaigns
▸ Conduct keyword research, write ad copy, and manage bidding strategies
▸ Ensure conversion tracking is correctly configured for D2C goals
▸ Optimise Quality Score, landing page experience, and ad relevance
Reporting & Analytics
▸ Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports covering spends, ROAS, revenue, and CVR
▸ Maintain a campaign-level P&L view with cost-per-acquisition tracking
▸ Present insights and recommendations to the Marketing Lead
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
▸ 2–3 years of hands-on experience in performance/digital marketing
▸ Proven track record of managing Meta Ads and Google Ads independently
▸ Strong understanding of D2C e-commerce funnels and CRO principles
▸ Proficiency with Meta Business Manager, Google Ads Manager, and Google Analytics (GA4)
▸ Familiarity with Shopify (product listings, storefront, basic theme edits)
▸ Ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights — Excel / Google Sheets proficiency
▸ Strong written communication for ad copy and internal reporting
▸ Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
GOOD TO HAVE
▸ Experience marketing consumer electronics, IoT, or tech products
▸ Hands-on with GoKwik, Kwick Engage, or similar D2C conversion / retention tools
▸ Basic understanding of SEO and organic traffic growth
▸ Exposure to video ad formats and short-form content strategy (Reels, YouTube Shorts)
▸ Experience with marketplace platforms (Amazon, Flipkart) is a plus
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIS)
- D2C Monthly Revenue (shop.ajjas.com): Achieve the monthly revenue target assigned by the Marketing Lead.
- Website Conversion Rate (CVR): Deliver continuous month-on-month improvement in website conversion rate.
- Blended ROAS (Meta + Google Ads): Maintain a minimum ROAS of 3.0x on paid advertising spends.
- Cost Per Acquisition (CPA): Keep CPA within approved marketing budget and channel benchmarks.
- Campaign Uptime & Health: Ensure zero lapsed campaigns and submit weekly performance reports on time.
