1 Role Purpose
The Water Haul Dispatch Analyst provides ticket validation invoice quality assurance and vendor performance tracking across bpx Energys water logistics operations in all three Lower48 Business Units The primary function of this role is ensuring that vendor work was performed as invoiced verifying pricebook compliance volume accuracy route legitimacy and documentation completeness before charges flow through to financial systems Where the dispatch team executes realtime logistics and the Production Fluids Lead sets operational strategy this Analyst serves as the quality control function that catches cost leakage billing errors and service failures at the transaction level
Additional responsibilities include vendor scorecard development data stewardship within the IronSight platform and periodic trend reporting
This is not a dispatch role The Analyst does not create tickets assign haulers or manage realtime load operations The Analyst reports directly to the Production Fluids Lead and provides validated data and performance insights that inform the Leads vendor management decisions and operational direction
2 Supervision Reporting Structure

Task priorities validation focus areas and escalation thresholds are directed by the bpx Production Fluids Lead The Analyst receives work primarily through standing validation queues daily ticket review weekly invoice reconciliation and ad hoc requests driven by billing anomalies or vendor disputes The Production Fluids Lead defines acceptance criteria for ticketinvoice quality and sets thresholds for cost variance escalation The Analyst operates alongside the dispatch team both report to the Production Fluids Lead providing quality assurance on completed transactions rather than directing dispatcher activities
Administrative Oversight Supplier Team Lead
The suppliers team lead ensures work quality standards professional development output cadence and administrative coordination with the bpxsupplier governance team The team lead does NOT define validation priorities or override bpx operational direction
3 Core Responsibilities
Responsibilities are organized into four functional clusters Ticket and invoice validation 31 represents the primary workload The Analyst operates across all three Business Units simultaneously prioritizing areas based on Production Fluids Lead direction
31 Ticket Invoice Validation and Cost Compliance
Serve as the primary quality barrier for all water haul tickets flowing through IronSight OpenTicket and OpenInvoice reviewing completed tickets for pricebook compliance GL code accuracy volume reasonableness and proper documentation before they flow to financial systems
Validate that work invoiced was actually performed crossreference ticket details volumes routes timestamps disposal facility against GPS breadcrumb data photo evidence and UIC28 form completion
Audit tickettoinvoice accuracy verify that charges billed in OpenInvoice match the work captured in IronSight volumes rates mileage bands special service codes afterhours premiums
Review reconcile OpenInvoice pricebook IronSight pricing variances identify rate misapplication mileage band errors and unauthorized surcharges
Identify and escalate systemic cost leakage patterns duplicate tickets nonprimary disposal routing without justification excessive standby charges mileage band misapplication and rate tier errors
Monitor autoapproval parameters and flag tickets that pass autoapproval but exhibit anomalous characteristics unusual volume atypical route new vendordisposal pairing
Validate that GPS breadcrumb data photo evidence and UIC28 form completion meet the evidentiary standards required for invoice backup documentation
Produce periodic cost variance reports comparing actual spend against GFO and LTP targets with rootcause attribution for overages
Process daily validation queue within SLA ensuring tickets do not age beyond approval thresholds without review
