Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and hands-on experience managing financial records, reconciliations, reporting, and month-end closing activities.
The Senior Accountant will play an important role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with applicable accounting standards, and supporting management with financial insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Review journal entries, general ledger accounts, and account reconciliations.
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
- Perform bank, vendor, customer, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Ensure timely and accurate recording of income, expenses, accruals, and provisions.
- Coordinate with auditors and provide required financial documentation.
- Identify accounting discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure financial records are audit-ready.
- Support management with financial analysis and other accounting-related requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- 4–7 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience with Tally / ERP / SAP other accounting software.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, including formulas, Pivot Tables, and financial reporting.
- Strong understanding of reconciliations, month-end closing, and general ledger accounting.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in taxation, audit coordination, and statutory compliance.
- Experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
