Roles and Responsibilities:
Equipment Setup and Operation
- Calibrate Machines: Adjust settings like temperature, speed, and pressure for specific beauty formulas before starting a production run.
- Material Loading: Load raw materials like liquids, powders, and packaging into the equipment.
- Startup and Shutdown: Follow specific steps to turn machines on and off safely.
Quality Control and Testing
- Test Batches: Check product samples to ensure correct thickness, color, and texture.
- Inspect Packaging: Make sure bottles are sealed tight, labels are straight, and there are no leaks.
- Monitor Output: Watch the production line to stop flawed items from passing.
Cleaning and Maintenance
- Sanitize Equipment: Clean machines before and after use to prevent bacteria from growing.
- Routine Upkeep: Oil moving parts and fix small problems so machines do not break down
Safety and Compliance
- Follow GMP: Use Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to keep all products safe for human use.
- Wear Gear: Put on protective equipment like gloves, hairnets, and safety glasses.
- Report Issues: Tell managers immediately if something is unsafe or broken
Record Keeping
- Log Data: Write down how many items were made, how much material was used, and if any items were broken.
- Track Time: Note any time the machine was off and why (downtime)
