We are seeking a highly skilled VMC Programmer with 10–12 years of hands-on experience in CNC/VMC programming. The ideal candidate should have expertise in programming, machine setup, process optimization, and troubleshooting while ensuring high-quality production and maximum machining efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, edit, and optimize VMC programs using Fanuc controllers.
- Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and machining specifications.
- Select suitable cutting tools, fixtures, and machining parameters.
- Perform prove-out of new programs and optimize cycle times.
- Troubleshoot machining and programming issues to minimize downtime.
- Coordinate with Production and Quality teams to ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Maintain CNC program documentation and revision records.
- Follow all quality, safety, and company standards.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of VMC programming and machining operations.
- Experience with Fanuc CNC controls.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T.
- Knowledge of cutting tools, tooling selection, and process optimization.
- Experience with AutoCAD/CAM software will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 10–12 years of relevant experience as a VMC Programmer is mandatory.
