Job Description
Onkar Samachar Media and Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a confident, articulate and presentable News Anchor to join our newsroom and digital media team.
Key Responsibilities
- Present and anchor daily news bulletins, special programs and digital news content.
- Research and understand news stories before presenting them.
- Deliver news with clear pronunciation, confidence and appropriate expressions.
- Conduct interviews with guests, experts and public figures when required.
- Work closely with reporters, editors, video editors and the production team.
- Participate in video shoots, live coverage and special news programs.
- Maintain a professional on-camera presence and follow editorial guidelines.
- Stay updated with current affairs, Jharkhand news, national news and important developments.
Requirementscandidate with good communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent Hindi speaking and pronunciation skills.
- Strong knowledge of current affairs and interest in journalism/news.
- Confident and comfortable appearing on camera.
- Good voice modulation, diction and presentation skills.
- Journalism/Mass Communication background will be an advantage.
- Freshers with strong anchoring skills can also apply.
