Key Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
- Assist cardiologists during angiography, angioplasty, pacemaker implantation, and other Cath Lab procedures.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and cardiac rhythms throughout procedures.
- Administer medications and IV therapy as prescribed.
- Maintain sterile technique and infection control standards.
- Prepare, check, and maintain Cath Lab equipment and supplies.
- Assist with patient recovery and post-procedure monitoring.
- Educate patients and families on pre- and post-procedure care.
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation.
- Participate in emergency response during cardiac events.
Qualifications
- GNM or B.Sc. Nursing with valid Nursing Council registration.
- 1–3 years of nursing experience (Cath Lab or ICU/Cardiac Care preferred).

Job Title: Senior Cath Lab NurseJob Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Cath Lab Nurse to lead nursing care in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. The candidate will assist in complex cardiac procedures, supervise junior staff, ensure patient safety, and support continuous quality improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care before, during, and after cardiac interventions.
- Assist cardiologists in coronary angiography, angioplasty (PCI), TAVI, device implantation, electrophysiology procedures, and other interventional procedures.
- Monitor hemodynamic parameters, ECG, and patient condition throughout procedures.
- Administer medications, conscious sedation (as per hospital policy), contrast agents, and emergency drugs.
- Prepare and maintain Cath Lab equipment, instruments, and sterile fields.
- Respond effectively to cardiac emergencies and Code Blue situations.
- Supervise and mentor junior Cath Lab nurses and technicians.
- Ensure compliance with infection control, radiation safety, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with cardiologists, anesthetists, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate documentation and inventory management.
- Participate in audits, accreditation activities, and staff training.
Qualifications
- B.Sc. Nursing or GNM with valid Nursing Council registration.
- 5–8 years of nursing experience, including at least 3 years in a Cath Lab or Interventional Cardiology.
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
