The HubSpot CMS Developer at Inboundsys will design and develop websites using HubSpot CMS, focusing on creating custom themes, templates, modules, and plugins. This role requires a strong technical foundation in web development, a keen eye for aesthetics, and the ability to translate design mockups into pixel-perfect, responsive websites.
- Code and develop websites on the HubSpot CMS platform.
- Translate mockups into live pages with a pixel-perfect approach.
- Create themes, templates, blogs, landing pages, system pages, and email templates.
- Build custom modules and functionalities using HubL and HubDB.
- Implement new features and functionalities as per project requirements.
- Migrate blogs and websites to HubSpot CMS from other CMS platforms.
- Update and maintain websites following design guidelines and branding standards.
- Reduce load time and ensure high website performance, availability, and responsiveness.
- Handle all technical aspects of the HubSpot CMS, including development with local tooling.
- Consume and integrate data using RESTful APIs in JSON and XML formats.
- Work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality web solutions.
- Communicate effectively and provide input on design and functionality improvements.
- Proficiency in HubSpot CMS or WordPress CMS.
- Advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Familiarity with international web standards and protocols.
- Experience in building responsive user interfaces and converting wireframes into working HTML pages.
- Proficient in using Git for version control.
- Hands-on experience with website diagnostic and analytics tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- A good eye for design, including layout, color, typography, and brand identity.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience designing and developing websites on HubSpot CMS or WordPress CMS.
