Educational Qualification:
B.Tech (Preferred) OR M.Sc. Physics / Relevant Technical Background Preferred Experience:
1–3 years of experience in technical documentation, proposal writing, business development support, or technical marketing.
Marketing or Defence field exposure is better.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a Proactive and technically inclined Business Development Assistant to support the Business Development and Marketing team in day-to-day coordination, proposal preparation, technical documentation, and operational follow-ups. The role is critical due to continuous inter-city travel and multi-project involvement within the department. The selected candidate will act as a support resource for ensuring continuity of documentation, coordination, submissions, and communication worflows wherever managerial attention is required.
Role Expectations:
The candidate is expected to become a reliable support resource for the Business Development and Marketing function by ensuring continuity in documentation, proposal preparation, coordination, and operational follow-ups during continuous project engagements and travel schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development & Coordination Support
➢ Assist in coordination activities for ongoing defence and technology projects.
➢ Maintain regular follow-ups with internal teams and external stakeholders.
➢ Support in scheduling meetings, maintaining records, MOMs, and tracking action items.
➢ Handle coordination during travel periods to ensure seamless workflow continuity.
➢ Prepare, format, compile, and manage technical proposals, presentations, compliance documents, reports, and marketing documentation.
➢ Support preparation of techno-commercial documents for RFI/RFP/RFQ/tender submissions.
➢ Assist in preparing technical PPTs and documentation for customer presentations, demonstrations, exhibitions, and defence interactions.
➢ Maintain organized records of all proposals, presentations, approvals, and submission documents.
3. Field & Submission Support
➢ Handle basic physical documentation activities including submission and collection of documents from MoD offices, government receptions, DPSUs, and related offices whenever required.
➢ Coordinate with courier/logistics teams for movement of official documents and materials. 4. Marketing & Technical Content Support
➢ Support the overall BD/Marketing team in preparation of technical content and documentation.
➢ Assist in drafting technical write-ups, product notes, capability documents, and presentation material for defence systems and solutions.
➢ Work closely with engineering and technical teams to compile accurate technical data into customer-ready formats.
Required Skills:
➢ Strong documentation and communication skills.
➢ Good command over MS Office, especially PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
➢ Ability to prepare professional technical presentations and proposals. ➢ Good organizational and coordination abilities.
➢ Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work independently during travel based operations.
➢ Basic understanding of defence, technology, engineering, or technical systems will be an added advantage.
Minimum Service Agreement:
➢ 24 months service for below 3 years’ experience candidates.
➢ 12 months service for above 3 years’ experience candidates.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
