- Prepare tandoori items, such as naan bread, chicken tikka, lamb chops, and other vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes in a tandoor oven.
- Ensure that all tandoori items are prepared according to recipes and company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized tandoor oven area and adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of tandoori ingredients and supplies.
- Assist with menu planning and cost control measures related to tandoori items.
- Train and supervise assistant chefs and kitchen staff in tandoori cooking techniques.
- Test new tandoori recipes and make adjustments as needed to ensure consistent quality and taste.
- Maintain a positive and professional relationship with customers and respond to customer requests and inquiries related to tandoori items.
- Attend training and development programs to improve knowledge and skills in tandoori cooking techniques and customer service.
- Assist with other kitchen duties as assigned.
