We are looking for a motivated and student-focused Study Counsellor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for counselling students and parents, understanding their educational and career goals, and guiding them toward suitable study programs and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students regarding academic programs, courses, colleges, and career pathways.
- Understand students’ interests, academic backgrounds, and career goals.
- Provide accurate information about courses, eligibility, admissions, fees, and application procedures.
- Follow up with prospective students through calls, WhatsApp, email, and in-person meetings.
- Maintain regular communication with students and parents throughout the admission process.
- Convert enquiries and leads into successful admissions.
- Maintain student records and update lead information in the CRM/system.
- Achieve monthly counselling and admission targets.
- Coordinate with the admissions and operations teams to ensure a smooth student journey.
- Stay updated on courses, institutions, admission requirements, and education trends.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good communication skills
- Strong counselling, convincing, and relationship-building abilities.
- Comfortable making calls and following up with students.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated.
- Previous experience in education counselling, student counselling, admissions, or sales will be an advantage.
- Freshers with strong communication skills may also be considered.
