Role Summary
The Regional Manager is responsible for the overall business and operational performance of the assigned region. The role involves ownership of regional profitability, P&L management, vending machine operations, inventory control, warehouse management, client satisfaction, and team leadership.
The Regional Manager will drive operational excellence by ensuring high machine uptime, inventory accuracy, service quality, and customer satisfaction while maintaining cost efficiency and profitability across the region.
Key Responsibilities1. Regional Business & P&L Ownership
- Own the Profit & Loss (P&L) for the assigned region.
- Drive regional revenue, profitability, and operational performance.
- Monitor and control operational costs, inventory losses, and wastages.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and increase profitability.
2. Operations Management
- Ensure smooth functioning of all vending machines within the region.
- Monitor machine uptime and service performance.
- Ensure timely execution of replenishment and servicing activities.
- Drive adherence to operational SOPs and service standards.
- Conduct regular field visits to monitor operational performance.
3. Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary operational point of contact for regional clients.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Manage client escalations and ensure timely resolution.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality.
4. Warehouse & Inventory Management
- Oversee warehouse operations within the assigned region.
- Ensure accurate execution of STN, GRN, stock transfers, and stock issuance processes.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure stock availability for uninterrupted operations.
- Ensure FIFO practices and proper inventory handling.
- Minimize inventory losses, damages, expiries, and stock variances.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in company systems.
6. Stock Audit & Compliance
- Conduct periodic physical audits of warehouse inventory and vending machine stock.
- Ensure physical inventory matches system inventory.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, operational standards, and audit requirements.
7. Machine Health & Preventive Maintenance
- Monitor machine performance, uptime, and reliability.
- Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are executed on time.
- Coordinate with technical teams and vendors for machine repairs and servicing.
- Track recurring machine issues and drive permanent resolution.
- Reduce machine downtime and improve asset utilization.
8. Team Leadership & People Management
- Lead, manage, and mentor Operations Executives and Warehouse Executives.
- Monitor productivity, attendance, and performance of field teams.
- Conduct regular reviews, coaching sessions, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure adequate manpower planning and resource allocation.
- Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Retail Operations, Facility Management, or Vending Operations.
- Experience managing multi-location operations and field teams.
- Strong understanding of inventory management, warehousing, and service operations.
