Ayurveda Therapist Panchakarma & Wellness Therapies Company Bhaktivedanta Ayurvedic Healing Research Centre (BAHRC), ISKCON Navi Mumbai Location Kharghar, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra (on-site) Job Type Paid — Full-time / Contract (shift-based options available) Working Days & Hours Monday to Saturday, two sessions daily — 8:00 AM-12:00 PM and 4:00 PM-8:00 PM Experience 1-5 years in Panchakarma/Ayurveda massage therapy preferred; freshers with formal training may also apply Compensation Competitive, commensurate with experience and qualification — for discussion at interview About BAHRC The Bhaktivedanta Ayurvedic Healing Research Centre (BAHRC) is ISKCON Navi Mumbai's integrative Ayurveda, Yoga, Mantra & Wellness centre at the Glory of Maharashtra Temple, Kharghar — a 10,000 sq. ft. facility with dedicated Panchakarma therapy suites, separate Ladies' and Gentlemen's wellness areas, a Yoga & Fitness studio, and doctor/nutritionist consultation rooms, serving patients, wellness members, and the wider community. Role Overview We are looking for a skilled and experienced Male Ayurveda Therapist to deliver authentic Panchakarma and classical Ayurveda therapies to our male guests at BAHRC's Gentlemen's Wellness Therapy Suite, under the supervision of our Medical Consultant/RMO. Note: Given the personal, hands-on nature of Ayurveda therapy and BAHRC's separate Ladies'/Gentlemen's Wellness Areas, this role is specifically for male candidates, as a genuine occupational requirement for guest comfort, privacy, and dignity. Key Responsibilities ● Administer prescribed Ayurveda therapies to male patients/guests, including Snehan Abhyangam, Synchronized Abhyangam (with a second therapist), Udwarthanam, Marma Therapy, Kizhi, Shirodhara, Kati Vasthi, Classical Swedish Therapy, Aroma Therapy, Deep Tissue Therapy, and Hot Stone Therapy, as directed by the treating physician. ● Prepare treatment rooms, herbal oils, linens, and equipment as per each patient's prescribed protocol, before every session. ● Follow strict hygiene, sanitation, and linen-change protocols between every patient session, per BAHRC's Therapy Room, Hygiene & Chaperone Policy. ● Maintain patient comfort, privacy, and dignity throughout every session, and offer/arrange a chaperone as required by policy. ● Monitor the patient's wellbeing during therapy, and immediately report any discomfort or adverse reaction to the on-duty physician/RMO, per the Emergency & Medical Contingency Policy. ● Maintain accurate therapy logs and patient session records. ● Support reception/scheduling coordination during non-session time, as needed. ● Uphold BAHRC's professional, non-sectarian, seva-oriented guest experience standards at all times. Requirements & Skills ● Certificate/Diploma in Panchakarma or Ayurvedic Massage Therapy (Kerala-style training preferred); BAMS-trained therapists also welcome. ● Prior experience in a wellness centre, spa, or Ayurveda hospital setting preferred. ● Sound working knowledge of Abhyangam, Shirodhara, Udwarthanam, Marma, Kizhi, and other classical Ayurveda therapies. ● Physically fit, with the stamina and correct technique needed for hands-on therapy delivery. ● High standards of personal hygiene and professional grooming. ● Basic communication skills in English, Hindi, and/or Marathi. ● Willingness to work six days a week (Monday-Saturday) across two daily sessions.
