Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Factory Store Manager to oversee
inventory management, store operations, and materials flow for mechanical products. The
ideal candidate will ensure timely availability of materials, maintain accurate stock
records, and coordinate closely with production and procurement teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the factory store, ensuring smooth handling of
mechanical products and components.
- Monitor and maintain optimum inventory levels to avoid overstocking or shortages.
- Ensure accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials as per production
schedules.
Coordinate with the procurement and production departments for timely supply
and demand forecasting.
- Maintain updated records in ERP/software for all stock transactions
(inward/outward).
- Implement proper storage techniques for mechanical products to prevent damage
or deterioration.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconciliation with system records.
- Ensure compliance with safety, housekeeping, and storekeeping best practices.
- Manage a team of storekeepers and helpers; ensure proper documentation and
issue tracking.
- Prepare regular reports on stock levels, consumption trends, and wastage.
