QA Tester

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and quality-driven QA Tester to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software applications by designing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating closely with developers and project stakeholders.
As a QA Tester, you will play a critical role in maintaining product quality throughout the software development lifecycle and ensuring that our web and mobile applications meet functional and business requirements before release.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases, test scenarios, and test plans based on business and technical requirements.
- Perform Functional, Regression, Smoke, Integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on web and mobile applications.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools.
- Validate bug fixes and perform retesting to ensure issues have been resolved effectively.
- Collaborate closely with developers, project managers, and business stakeholders to understand project requirements and quality expectations.
- Conduct cross-browser, cross-platform, and device compatibility testing.
- Analyze system behavior, identify potential risks, and recommend quality improvements.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback to improve product usability and functionality.
- Maintain accurate test documentation, defect reports, test execution reports, and quality metrics.
- Assist in improving QA processes, testing methodologies, and best practices.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software releases by adhering to project timelines and quality standards.
Required QualificationsEducation
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Equivalent practical experience may also be considered.
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies, processes, and best practices.
- Experience testing web and mobile applications.
- Understanding of databases and basic SQL queries.
- Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman is preferred.
Tools & Technologies
- Experience with defect tracking and project management tools such as Jira, TestRail, ClickUp, or similar platforms.
- Exposure to automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications
- 0–3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Testing.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Experience with e-commerce, SaaS, or mobile application testing is a plus.
