- Supervise staff: Coordinate daily activities, assign tasks, manage schedules, and provide training and performance feedback for housekeeping employees.
- Maintain cleanliness: Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and facilities to ensure they meet or exceed cleanliness and tidiness standards.
- Manage inventory: Monitor stock levels for cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed.
- Ensure safety and compliance: Enforce health, safety, and company policies, and ensure staff is trained on security protocols and procedures.
- Handle guest interactions: Respond to guest requests and concerns promptly and professionally to resolve issues and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Coordinate with other departments: Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and front desk, on room turnovers and special requests.
- Maintain records: Keep records of cleaning schedules, inventory, and staff attendance.
