1. Pre-Operative (Before Surgery)
- Environment Setup: Sterilizes and prepares the operating room, ensuring strict infection control.
- Equipment Calibration: Sets up, checks, and calibrates complex medical equipment like surgical tables, lights, and anesthesia machines.
- Patient Preparation: Assists with patient positioning, preparing the surgical site, and verifying patient identity and procedure details.
- Inventory Management: Arranges surgical instruments and ensures all consumables (gloves, sutures, drapes) are fully stocked.
2. Intra-Operative (During Surgery)
- Assistance: Assists the surgical team by passing sterile instruments, managing supplies, and operating specific machinery.
- Sterility Maintenance: Preserves the sterile field to prevent post-operative infections.
- Safety & Monitoring: Assists in monitoring patient vitals and participates in safety checks (such as instrument and sponge counts) to prevent errors.
3. Post-Operative (After Surgery)
- Patient Transfer: Assists in safely transferring the patient to the recovery room.
- Clean-up & Sterilization: Collects, cleans, and re-sterilizes surgical instruments for future use.
- Waste Management: Disposes of biomedical waste according to hospital safety guidelines.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
