Role Summary
Owns both design delivery and deal closure for modular kitchen & wardrobe projects — from the first client conversation through space planning, 3D visualization, BOQ/costing, and final design sign-off, carrying the client relationship all the way to order booking. Mentors the Jr. Designer and acts as the primary client-facing owner between showroom sales and production/execution.
Key Responsibilities
— Own the client relationship end-to-end: first consultation, requirement briefing, design development, commercial negotiation, and order closure
— Conduct on-site measurements and structured requirement briefings for walk-in and BDE-sourced leads
— Develop 3D designs and renders for kitchen & wardrobe layouts using design software
— Prepare and present detailed BOQs, costing sheets, and commercial quotations, negotiating within approved pricing bands and close deals to generate sales.
— Present design concepts to clients, handle objections, and drive conversion to signed order within agreed cycles
— Finalize technical drawings and specifications for factory/production handoff once the order is confirmed
— Review and mentor the Jr. Designer's drawings and support their client-facing development
— Coordinate with the Project Manager on design feasibility, site constraints, and installation practicality
— Maintain and update the design library of finishes, hardware, and material combinations, in step with the Artoza and other veneer/laminate catalogues
— Log every client interaction, quotation, and follow-up in LeadFlow CRM, keeping the personal pipeline current
KPI Focus Areas (Activity-Based)
Design-to-Close Turnaround- First-draft designs and quotations delivered to clients within the agreed timeline
Conversion Rate- Share of design consultations that convert into signed/booked orders
Revision Discipline- Revision cycles per project stay within an agreed cap before sign-off
Quotation & BOQ Accuracy- Costing sheets and quotations require minimal correction once issued
Production Handoff Quality- Technical drawings accepted by production without clarification loops
CRM Discipline- Personal pipeline, quotations, and follow-ups kept current in LeadFlow
Mentorship- Jr. Designer's output quality and client-readiness improve month over month
Catalogue Currency- Design library of finishes/hardware kept current and used in client presentations
Qualifications & Experience
Diploma or Degree in Interior Design or related field; 5+ years designing modular kitchens/wardrobes with direct client-facing sales/closing experience; a portfolio of executed projects is required.
Skills & Competencies
Proficiency in 3D design/space-planning software, strong spatial planning judgment, working knowledge of hardware brands (Hettich, Blum, Hafele), consultative selling and negotiation skills, client presentation ability, and BOQ/costing fluency.
Pay: ₹9,188.70 - ₹46,577.62 per month
