A site supervisor manages daily on-site operations, acting as the bridge between management and the frontline crew. They ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to standard by directing workers, enforcing safety regulations, and tracking materials.
Core Responsibilities:
- Safety Management: Enforces health and safety rules, conducts hazard inspections, and leads accident protocols.
- Team Supervision: Manages staff schedules, coordinates subcontractors, and delegates daily tasks.
- Quality Control: Inspects work against blueprints to ensure compliance with building codes and project standards.
- Resource Management: Monitors inventory, orders materials, and ensures equipment is functional.
Reporting: Updates project managers on progress and logs daily labour and site activity
