Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Consultant General Physician to provide comprehensive medical care to patients across a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions. The physician will be responsible for diagnosis, treatment, patient counselling, preventive healthcare, and coordination with other specialists whenever required.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive consultations, medical examinations, and patient assessments.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Develop appropriate treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient needs.
- Provide outpatient and inpatient medical care as required.
- Monitor patients' clinical progress and modify treatment plans when necessary.
- Interpret laboratory investigations, imaging reports, ECGs, and other diagnostic results.
- Manage common medical emergencies and stabilize patients before specialist referral or admission when required.
- Coordinate care with surgeons, specialists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide appropriate referrals to specialists and ensure continuity of care.
- Counsel patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment, lifestyle modifications, and preventive healthcare.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records and clinical documentation.
- Follow hospital/clinic protocols, medical ethics, infection-control standards, and applicable healthcare regulations.
- Participate in clinical meetings, audits, quality-improvement initiatives, and medical education activities.
- Support preventive health programs, health screenings, and wellness initiatives where applicable.
Qualifications
- MBBS from a recognized medical institution.
- MD/DNB in General Medicine/Internal Medicine or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred/required as per the organization's requirements.
- Valid medical registration with the relevant State Medical Council/National Medical Commission, as applicable.
- Additional certifications in emergency care or relevant clinical areas are an advantage.
Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
