We are looking for a dynamic, leadership-driven Hotel Reception Manager to elevate our guest journey and lead our front desk operations. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]What You Will Do (Responsibilities):
- Lead Operations: Manage daily front desk workflows, including smooth guest check-ins, check-outs, room assignments, and key management.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, mentor, and schedule front office executives and bell desk staff to ensure flawless 24/7 service.
- Guest Relations: Act as the primary face of hospitality, proactively engaging with guests and swiftly resolving complaints to ensure stellar online reviews.
- Inventory & Revenue: Coordinate with Housekeeping and Revenue management to maximize room occupancy, manage walk-ins, and upsell premium rooms.
- Financial Discipline: Oversee front-of-house billing, cash handling, UPI/card settlements, and ensure accuracy in daily shift closures.
- Local Concierge Expertise: Ensure the reception team provides accurate guidance to guests regarding local Varanasi attractions, Ganga Aarti timings, and transport logistics. [1]
What You Bring (Qualifications):
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in hotel front office operations, with at least 1–2 years in a team lead or supervisory capacity.
- Technical Skills: Strong hands-on proficiency with major Property Management Systems (PMS).
- Communication: Fluent in Hindi and English with excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with diverse travelers.
- Problem Solving: Sharp conflict-resolution capabilities and the ability to stay calm during peak tourist seasons.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, festivals, and morning/evening shifts as per occupancy demands.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Degree or Diploma in Hospitality or Hotel Management.
- Familiarity with international guest registration protocols (Form C submission requirements).
