Position: Junior Lawyer / Legal Advisor
We are urgently looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Junior Lawyer to join our Debt Advisory team. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing legal guidance to clients regarding debt management, loan settlements, and financial disputes.
Requirements:
- Education: LLB / LLM degree from a recognized university.
- Registration: Must be a registered advocate with the Bar Council and Kolkata High Court.
- Experience: Freshers or candidates with 1–2 years of experience are welcome.
- Language Skills (Crucial): * Must be able to speak fluently in Bengali, Hindi, and English (All 3 languages are mandatory for client communication).
- Excellent Legal Drafting skills in English and Bengali are strictly required.
- Preferred Knowledge: Basic understanding of Banking Laws, Debt Recovery Tribunal (DRT) processes, SARFAESI Act, or Loan Settlement drafting will be highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling legal drafting and preparing legal notices/settlement letters in English and Bengali.
- Consulting with clients across different regions to understand their financial/debt issues and offering the right legal solutions.
- Coordinating with senior legal counsels and managing case documentations.
