A professional painter applies paints, stains, sealants, and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces. They are responsible for surface preparation, material selection, and executing flawless, long-lasting coatings that enhance and protect residential or commercial properties.
Job responsibilities:
Surface Preparation: Wash, scrape, sand, and repair walls by filling holes and cracks with putty, plaster, or caulk to create smooth surfaces.
Surface Protection: Cover trim, floors, furniture, and fixtures with drop cloths or masking tape to prevent damage and paint splatters.
Material Application: Apply primers, paints, varnishes, and sealants using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, perform repetitive motions, and work at elevated heights on ladders or scaffolding.
Color Vision: Strong hand-eye coordination and the ability to distinguish subtle differences in shade and color.
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of paint types, coatings (e.g., latex, oil-based, epoxy), and proper thinning/mixing ratios.
Attention to Detail: Precision in creating crisp, clean lines and even coverage.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
