JOB TITLE: ALUMINIUM WELDER
Qualification: ITI / Diploma
Experience: 5+ Years
Location: Vallam, Vadagal, Sriperumbudur
Skills Required
- Hands-on experience in TIG welding of aluminium, preferably 5xxx / 6xxx series.
- Ability to handle medium to heavy-thickness aluminium fabrication and welding activities.
- Good knowledge of heat input control, distortion control techniques, and proper weld sequencing.
- Experience in producing defect-free welds with good control over porosity, cracks, and lack of fusion. Valid welder qualification certificate up to 3G positions is preferred.
- Good knowledge of argon shielding techniques and appropriate filler wire selection for aluminium welding.
- Ability to work as per engineering drawings and Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), with basic knowledge of fit-up and alignment.
