Job Summary
We are seeking a high-caliber Code Mercenary (Angular + Next.js) to build high-performance, scalable, and user-friendly web applications. As a tactical frontend specialist, you will move seamlessly between structured enterprise codebases and fast, server-side rendered applications. The ideal candidate must exhibit a strong ownership mindset, exceptional independent troubleshooting skills, and fluency in modern AI-assisted development practices to accelerate delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust web applications using Angular and Next.js.
- Build dynamic, responsive, and high-performance user interfaces.
- Implement server-side rendering (SSR) using Angular/Next.js and static site generation (SSG) using Next.js.
- Collaborate with designers and backend developers to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
- Optimize applications for speed, performance, and core web vitals/SEO.
- Write clean, maintainable, and highly reusable code.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing complex applications independently.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, improve productivity, and enhance overall code quality.
Required Technical Skills
- Frameworks: Strong proficiency in Angular (v2+) and Next.js (React framework).
- Languages: Expertise in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- State Management: Experience with NgRx, Redux, or similar architectures.
- Architecture: Clear knowledge of SSR, SSG, and frontend performance optimization.
- Web Mechanics: Practical knowledge of page speed optimization tools (Lighthouse, PageSpeed Insights, etc.) and technical SEO fundamentals.
- Tooling: Familiarity with REST APIs, asynchronous programming, and Git version control.
AI & Modern Development Skills (Mandatory)
- Hands-on experience with AI-powered code generation tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, or similar).
- Ability to use AI tools for code scaffolding, debugging, refactoring, and performance optimization.
- Clear understanding of prompt engineering tailored for frontend development use cases.
- Proven experience in validating, testing, and securing AI-generated code.
- Exposure to AI-assisted testing, documentation generation, and rapid code reviews.
