Designation - Sales & Marketing Officer

About the Role
We're looking for a driven Sales Officer to grow our customer base and drive revenue through field sales. The ideal candidate is a quick learner, a confident communicator, and comfortable traveling extensively on a two-wheeler to meet clients, dealers, and prospects across the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the assigned territory
- Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, and end customers
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain technical/commercial details clearly to clients
- Convince and convert leads into sales through effective persuasion and follow-up
- Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets set by management
- Travel regularly across the territory using own two-wheeler for client visits
- Gather market intelligence and report competitor activity, pricing, and customer feedback
- Coordinate with internal teams (support, logistics, finance) to ensure smooth order fulfilment
- Maintain accurate records of visits, leads, and sales in CRM/reporting tool, e.g. Excel, Salesforce, in-house system
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in field sales
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong ability to grasp new products, processes, and technical information quickly
- Good convincing/negotiation skills to close deals
- Must own a two-wheeler and hold a valid driving license (mandatory)
- Willingness to travel extensively within the territory
- Prior experience in the machinery/industrial equipment industry preferred
- Qualification: B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering preferred
