Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Ticketing Executive to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for handling travel bookings, issuing tickets, providing exceptional customer service, and managing itinerary modifications for our clients. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication skills, a high level of accuracy, and familiarity with Global Distribution Systems (GDS).
Key Responsibilities
Booking & Issuance:
- Process flight, train, bus, and hotel reservations accurately according to client preferences and company policies.
- Issue, re-issue, and cancel tickets efficiently using standard ticketing systems.
- Verify passenger details, travel dates, and payment information before finalizing bookings.
Customer Support:
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and requests regarding bookings, cancellations, and refunds promptly and professionally.
- Provide expert travel recommendations, fare options, and schedule details to clients.
Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions, daily sales reports, and customer interactions.
- Process refunds and handle exchanges in compliance with airline or vendor policies.
- Keep up-to-date with industry regulations, visa requirements, fare structures, and promotional offers.
Coordination:
- Liaise with airlines, tour operators, and internal departments to resolve booking discrepancies or emergency travel changes.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: 1 to 3 years of proven experience as a Ticketing Executive, Travel Consultant, or in a similar customer-service-driven travel role.
Technical Skills:
- Hands-on experience with GDS platforms (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo).
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and CRM software.
Soft Skills:
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong active listening and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
