Job Description: Senior DevOps Engineer

Work Schedule: Weekends required (Saturday & Sunday) | Two weekdays off
About the Role:
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our CI/CD pipelines, managing infrastructure, and ensuring system reliability. This role requires flexibility to work on weekends, with two days off during the week.
Key Responsibilities:
● Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines for smooth deployments.
● Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
● Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
● Implement security best practices across systems and applications and handle attacks like DDoS and SQL Injection.
● Develop and maintain Docker-based environments (Docker, Docker Compose, Docker Swarm). Basic Kubernetes experience to assist with container orchestration when required.
● Collaborate with developers to streamline deployment processes and resolve operational issues.
● Configure and maintain monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
● Perform regular backups, disaster recovery testing, and ensure business continuity.
● Participate in on-call rotations and handle weekend operational support.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
● 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
● Solid experience in Linux system administration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
● Experience in Cloudflare with WAF.
● Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
● Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration tools.
● Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or Go).
● Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
● Familiarity with GitOps and version control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub).
● Strong understanding of networking, security, and server administration.
● Incident response and root cause analysis.
● Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have:
● Certifications (AWS Certified Solution Architect Associate, CKA, etc.).
● Experience with logging and alerting tools (ELK Stack, Prometheus, Datadog etc.).
● Basic knowledge of programming and understanding the code.
Work Schedule:
● Required to work on weekends (Saturday & Sunday).
● Two days off during the weekdays (to be discussed during onboarding).
