Role Summary
Farwood Interior Ltd is seeking skilled Design Engineers to join our design team in Chinnambedu. The role involves creating precise 2D AutoCAD shop drawings, cutting lists, and MRFs for residential and commercial interior projects.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed 2D shop drawings in AutoCAD for:
Kitchens
Wardrobes
Cots / Beds
TV Units
Ceiling & wall paneling
Joinery details
Commercial project interiors (if applicable)
Create cutting lists and Material Requisition Forms (MRF) in Excel.
Coordinate with production and site teams for accurate execution.
Maintain quality standards and ensure drawings meet project requirements.
Revise and update drawings as per feedback from design head or client.
Technical Skills Required:
AutoCAD – Advanced proficiency for interior detail drafting.
Excel – Proficiency for cutting list & MRF preparation.
IMOS software knowledge (preferred).
PYTHA software knowledge (preferred).
SAP knowledge (preferred).
Strong understanding of joinery & interior construction details.
Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.
Education Qualifications
ITI Draughtsman (Civil / Mechanical)
Diploma in Interior Design
Diploma in Architecture
Experience & Salary
Category 1 – Residential Projects:
Interior detail drawings.
Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹50,000 per month (based on experience).
Category 2 – Commercial Projects:
Strong experience in commercial interior projects – 2D shop drawings, detailing, and execution coordination.
Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹50,000 per month (based on experience).
Other Requirements
Detail-oriented with accuracy in drawings.
Ability to work within deadlines.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
