Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and highly accomplished Vice President – EPC Operations to lead and oversee the company’s EPC operations, project execution, client management and business development activities.
The position is particularly suitable for retired DGM / GM / senior officers from relevant Government Departments, Government Undertakings, PSUs, DISCOMs, Transmission & Distribution Utilities, Railways, PWD, CPWD, Infrastructure or other government organizations, with extensive experience in managing large-scale infrastructure and EPC projects.
The ideal candidate should bring strong knowledge of government procedures, EPC contracts, tendering, project execution, statutory approvals, client coordination and government stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for the company’s EPC operations and project portfolio.
- Oversee execution of large-scale Transmission, Distribution, Railway, Solar, Substation, Infrastructure and other EPC projects.
- Develop operational strategies to achieve project, financial and business objectives.
- Lead coordination with Government Departments, PSUs, DISCOMs, PWDs, Railways, Transmission Utilities and other government agencies.
- Leverage extensive government-sector experience to strengthen client relationships and business opportunities.
- Guide the organization on government tendering, contracts, procurement procedures, project approvals and statutory requirements.
- Review and guide major tenders, bids, technical proposals, commercial proposals and contract conditions.
- Monitor project progress, cost, quality, timelines, billing, collections and profitability.
- Ensure timely resolution of project-level technical, commercial and contractual issues.
- Support senior management in negotiations with government authorities, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders.
- Provide strategic guidance on EPC contracts, claims, variations, extensions of time, penalties, disputes and commercial matters.
- Review project risks and establish appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Strengthen project monitoring systems, MIS, KPIs and operational reporting.
- Mentor and guide Project Directors, General Managers, Project Heads and senior engineering teams.
- Ensure compliance with applicable government regulations, contractual requirements, safety standards and quality norms.
- Identify new EPC opportunities and support business development and strategic growth initiatives.
- Represent the company in important meetings with government departments and key clients.
- Provide regular strategic reports and recommendations to the Managing Director / Board.

- Government organizations handling EPC, Infrastructure, Power, Transmission & Distribution, Renewable Energy or large-scale construction projects
Experience
- 20+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Preference will be given to candidates who have held DGM / GM / Chief Engineer / equivalent senior positions in relevant Government Departments, PSUs or Government Undertakings.
- Strong experience in EPC project execution, infrastructure development, power, railway, transmission, distribution, solar or government-funded projects will be preferred.
Pay: From ₹150,000.00 per month
