We are looking for an experienced Senior Finance Executive to manage and support the resort’s day-to-day finance and accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, revenue control, reconciliations, cost monitoring and statutory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting and financial transactions of the resort.
- Conduct Daily Revenue Audit and verify revenue from Rooms, F&B, Spa and other operating departments.
- Reconcile PMS/POS revenue reports with accounting records.
- Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger activities.
- Perform bank, cash, credit card and payment gateway reconciliations.
- Verify purchase invoices, POs, GRNs and supporting documents.
- Monitor collections, receivables and outstanding payments.
- Prepare daily revenue reports, MIS and financial schedules.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing, accruals, provisions and journal entries.
- Monitor departmental expenses and support cost control and variance analysis.
- Assist with inventory, food cost and beverage cost reconciliation.
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS and applicable statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with Front Office, F&B, Stores, Purchase, HR and other departments on financial matters.
- Support internal, statutory and external audits.
- Identify financial discrepancies and control gaps and report them to management.
- Ensure adherence to resort financial policies, SOPs and internal controls.
- Support the Finance Manager in improving financial processes and operational controls.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant Finance & Accounts experience.
- Hospitality experience is mandatory, with prior experience in a hotel, resort or hospitality establishment.
- Candidates without prior hospitality/hotel/resort finance experience will not be considered.
- Strong knowledge of hotel accounting, revenue audit and resort finance operations.
- Experience with PMS/POS and accounting software is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Good knowledge of GST, TDS and statutory compliance.
- Experience in a luxury hotel or resort will be an added advantage.
