About the Role
We’re looking for a creative Video Editor who understands how to create content that grabs attention and keeps people watching. You’ll be responsible for editing high-performing Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts, along with designing compelling YouTube thumbnails.
If you enjoy storytelling, have a strong creative eye, and love experimenting with new editing styles, we’d love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
* Edit engaging videos for Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
* Create high-converting YouTube thumbnails.
* Add motion graphics, text animations, captions, transitions, sound effects, and background music where required.
* Maintain a fast-paced editing style focused on audience retention.
* Collaborate with the content and marketing team to execute creative ideas.
* Stay updated with the latest social media trends and editing techniques.
* Organize project files and deliver content within deadlines.
* Take feedback positively and implement revisions efficiently.
Requirements
* 1–3 years of video editing experience (or a strong portfolio).
* Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
* Basic knowledge of Adobe After Effects.
* Experience creating YouTube thumbnails using Photoshop or Canva.
* Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and retention-focused editing.
* Good sense of typography, sound design, and visual aesthetics.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
* Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.
Bonus Skills
* Experience editing finance, business, or educational content.
* Basic color grading and audio enhancement.
* Familiarity with AI-powered editing tools and workflows.
