Job Summary
WeArch Developers is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Engineer to oversee the planning, coordination, execution, and successful delivery of construction projects. The Project Engineer will act as the primary link between clients, consultants, the design team, procurement, and site execution teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with the company's quality standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Execution
- Plan, organize, and monitor project execution from project initiation through final handover.
- Develop project execution plans, work schedules, and milestone tracking.
- Ensure projects are completed within approved timelines and budgets.
- Monitor overall project progress and implement corrective actions whenever required.
Site Coordination & Monitoring
- Conduct regular site visits to review project progress, quality, and safety.
- Coordinate with Senior Site Engineers, Site Engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor daily site activities and ensure adherence to approved drawings, BOQs, specifications, and company standards.
- Resolve technical and execution-related issues in coordination with the site team.
Quality Management
- Review and verify construction quality against approved drawings and specifications.
- Monitor quality inspection reports and ensure timely closure of observations.
- Review quality checklists and ensure compliance with company quality procedures.
- Ensure proper workmanship throughout all stages of project execution.
Client & Consultant Coordination
- Conduct project kick-off meetings with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, vendors, and internal departments throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide regular project updates and address client queries promptly.
- Ensure effective communication between all project stakeholders.
Procurement & Material Coordination
- Coordinate with the procurement team regarding material requirements and delivery schedules.
- Review material specifications and approve material selections in coordination with the design team and client.
- Monitor procurement schedules to avoid project delays.
- Verify contractor and supplier bills based on work progress and contractual agreements.
Project Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare and maintain project schedules, execution plans, and progress reports.
- Submit weekly and monthly project status reports to management.
- Monitor project documentation, including drawings, BOQs, approvals, and technical submissions.
- Maintain proper project records and ensure document control.
Cost Control & Risk Management
- Monitor project budgets and control project costs.
- Identify project risks, delays, and resource constraints.
- Recommend and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Support project cost tracking and financial monitoring.
Team Leadership & Communication
- Guide and support Site Engineers and Senior Site Engineers in achieving project objectives.
- Facilitate coordination meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Monitor project communication platforms (including project WhatsApp groups) and ensure timely responses to project-related queries.
- Promote collaboration, accountability, and adherence to company procedures.
Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- PMP or other project management certifications will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 4–10 years of experience in construction project execution and management.
- Proven experience in residential, commercial, or interior construction projects.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary project teams.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, project execution, and quality standards.
- Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Excellent project planning and scheduling skills.
- Strong understanding of BOQs, contracts, and project documentation.
- Client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
- Vendor and subcontractor coordination.
- Budget monitoring and cost control.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, and ERP/project management software.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
