Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Quality Control (QC) Executive to join our jewellery manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in jewellery quality control, export standards, and inspection processes to ensure all products meet customer specifications and company quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct quality inspections at various stages of jewellery production.
- Ensure finished products meet design specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements.
- Follow and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for quality control.
- Verify proper QC marking, tagging, and documentation.
- Identify quality issues and coordinate with production teams for corrective actions.
- Maintain inspection records and prepare quality reports.
- Ensure products comply with export quality standards and shipment requirements.
- Monitor workmanship, finishing, stone setting, plating, polishing, and overall product quality.
Candidate Requirements
- Must be familiar with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Should have extensive experience in the jewellery export industry and be able to specify the international customers/brands they have worked with.
- Must have a strong understanding of proper QC marking and quality documentation.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in jewellery quality control.
- Strong knowledge of jewellery manufacturing processes, finishing standards, and export quality requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with international jewellery buyers and export markets.
- Knowledge of gemstone, diamond, and precious metal quality standards.
- Ability to independently handle final inspections and quality audits.
