Roles and Responsibilities:
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and debugging capabilities.
- Expert-level Bash scripting skills, including advanced use of functions, error handling, pipelines, and modular design.
- Expertise in Linux CLI tools: awk, sed, grep, cut, xargs, etc.
- Strong programming skills in C, C++, or Python.
- Solid grasp of Linux internals, file systems, and performance-related tuning knobs (BIOS, kernel parameters, scheduler settings, etc.).
- Proven ability to develop clean, well-documented, and maintainable scripts suitable for production.
- Experience working with large-scale performance logs, especially from SoC or embedded platforms.
- Proficient in data analysis and visualization using Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts) and/or scripting languages.
- Experience executing industry-standard benchmarking tools such as SPEC, Cinebench, Geekbench, 3DMark, GFXbench, Unigine Heaven, FIO, iperf3. procyon, Mlperf.
- Effective team collaboration and communication skills, including documentation and knowledge sharing.
- Familiarity with CPU/GPU architecture concepts (e.g., core/thread scaling, throttling, power/frequency dynamics).
- Experience with profiling tools: perf, turbostat, ftrace, Intel VTune, AMD uProf/AVT/AGM/AGT, GPU profilers, AMD RPG, Perfetto, Ryzen AI, RCOM Profiler etc.
- Exposure to Windows performance tools: WPA, WPR, xperf, ETW, PerfView.
- Exposure to Android SDK/NDK toolset.
- Exposure PowerShell scripting on Windows.
