We are hiring a CNC Operator with 1 to 5 years of experience in machine operation, setting, and basic programming.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC machines such as VMC, CNC Turning, and Milling machines for production and engineering components
- Perform complete machine setup including tooling, fixtures, job setting, offsets, and alignment as per drawings
- Read and understand engineering drawings, process sheets, and work instructions
- Execute CNC programs (G-code / M-code) and perform minor program editing, tool offset correction, and troubleshooting
- Support engineering team in new job development, trial runs, and process improvements
- Carry out first-piece inspection and in-process quality checks using measuring instruments like Vernier caliper, micrometer, and gauges
- Ensure components meet required tolerances and quality standards
- Monitor machine performance, reduce downtime, and maintain productivity
- Perform basic preventive maintenance and ensure proper machine cleaning
- Follow safety procedures, PPE usage, and maintain 5S on the shop floor
- Maintain production and inspection records as required
Qualifications & Skills:
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- 1–5 years of CNC operation, setting, and basic programming experience
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
