About the Job
We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Assembly & Fitter Technician who has good hands-on experience in dismantling, servicing and assembling industrial mechanical equipment.
The candidate will mainly work on Servo Motors, AC/DC Motors, Gearboxes, Actuators and other Industrial Equipment received for repair.
This is a practical, hands-on job. The person should be comfortable opening equipment, identifying mechanical problems, replacing damaged parts and correctly assembling the equipment again.
Key Responsibilities
- Dismantle and reassemble Servo Motors, AC Motors and DC Motors
- Safely open and handle servo motors with permanent magnet rotors
- Remove and fit bearings, shafts, couplings, pulleys, bushes, seals and circlips
- Check bearings, shaft play, alignment, wear and other mechanical problems
- Replace damaged bearings, oil seals and other mechanical parts
- Use bearing pullers, hydraulic presses, arbor presses and bearing heaters
- Handle servo motor encoders, brakes and feedback assemblies carefully
- Identify damaged shafts, threads, bearing seats, housings and other components
- Mark parts properly before dismantling for correct reassembly
- Solve mechanical fitting and assembly problems
- Perform basic drilling, tapping, grinding and fitting work
- Read mechanical drawings and assembly diagrams
- Maintain proper photographs and records during dismantling and assembly
- Keep tools and work area clean and organized
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of mechanical fitting and assembly
- Experience in motor dismantling and assembly
- Bearing removal and fitting
- Shaft and coupling work
- Mechanical troubleshooting
- Knowledge of tolerances and clearances
- Ability to use Vernier Caliper, Micrometer and Dial Gauge
- Experience with hydraulic/mechanical presses and pullers
- Basic drilling, tapping and grinding skills
- Ability to work carefully on precision and expensive equipment
Preferred Experience
Candidates having previous experience in any of the following will be preferred:

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
