Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Development Manager to lead our engineering organization, manage Agile delivery, drive product execution, and ensure the successful development of scalable SaaS solutions. This role combines people management, Agile leadership, technical oversight, AWS infrastructure governance, and cross-functional collaboration.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Frontend Development: React.js
- Backend Development: PHP (Laravel), Slim Framework APIs
- Database: MySQL
- Mobile & Hardware Integration: Android POS, Kiosk Systems
- Cloud & Infrastructure: AWS EC2, RDS, S3, CloudFront, Monitoring Services
- DevOps: CI/CD Pipelines, Deployment Automation
- Project Management: Jira, Agile/Scrum Methodologies
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor Development, QA, DevOps, Android, iOS, and Full Stack teams.
- Drive Agile delivery processes, sprint planning, execution, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure timely delivery of product roadmap commitments with high quality standards.
- Oversee software architecture, scalability, performance, and system reliability.
- Manage application development using React.js, Laravel PHP, and API-driven architectures.
- Govern AWS cloud infrastructure, including availability, security, monitoring, and cost optimization.
- Define and improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and DevOps best practices.
- Ensure software quality through effective testing, release management, and defect resolution.
- Manage integrations with POS systems, payment terminals, printers, kiosks, and related hardware.
- Implement security, compliance, and access control best practices.
- Collaborate with Product, Operations, Customer Success, and Business teams to align technology with business goals.
- Drive Jira adoption, Agile methodologies, team performance, and engineering excellence.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing software development teams.
- Strong knowledge of React.js, Laravel PHP, APIs, and SaaS platforms.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and DevOps practices.
- Expertise in Agile/Scrum delivery and Jira project management.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- 8+ years software development experience
- 3+ years managing engineering teams
- Strong Agile and Scrum leadership experience
- Employment Type: Full-Time (WFO)

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
