The Role
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Bakery Manager to lead our kitchen and front-of-house team. As the Bakery Manager, you will oversee daily operations, ensure production quality meets our high standards, and drive sales through excellent customer service. You should be a hands-on leader who isn't afraid to put on an apron when needed but also possesses the business acumen to manage costs and inventory.
Key Responsibilities
- Operations Management: Oversee daily opening and closing procedures, ensuring the bakery is clean, stocked, and ready for business. Manage staff scheduling to optimize labor costs while meeting customer demand.
- Production & Quality Control: Supervise the baking team to ensure consistency, freshness, and quality of all products. Assist in recipe development and menu planning.
- Team Leadership: Hire, train, and mentor bakery staff. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Conduct performance reviews and handle disciplinary actions as needed.
- Inventory & Cost Control: Manage inventory levels of ingredients and packaging. Order supplies, negotiate with vendors, and minimize food waste to meet food cost targets.
- Customer Service: Handle customer inquiries, special orders, and complaints with professionalism. Ensure the front-of-house team delivers a superior customer experience.
- Compliance: Ensure the bakery complies with all local health and safety regulations, food handling standards, and sanitation protocols.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
