Job Description for Management Trainee of Engineering Department

A) Summary of the Responsibilities:
1 To adhere with the cGMP principles and to maintain them in an effective manner.
2 To Perform and Prioritize all the operation, maintenance & calibration related activities for HVAC & Utilities with respect to Biotech Plants.
3 To facilitate and co-ordinate the Qualification activities with Third party suppliers and Quality Assurance Department.
B) Detail of the Responsibilities:
1 For HVAC: -
To Monitor and Control all critical HVAC parameters in clean rooms and unclassified rooms and maintain the operations within the allowed limit as per CGMP guidelines.
To follow the SOPs for HVAC operation and Preventive Maintenance and carry- out the preventive, breakdown and shutdown activities as per plan without any deviations.
To support/perform routine upkeep, such as changing filters, cleaning air ducts, and testing system performance.
To support/coordinate on inspecting electrical and mechanical components to diagnose faults or system failures.
To support/coordinate on fixing/replacing the broken parts and handle emergency breakdown calls.
To coordinate/execute HVAC and chiller jobs related to CAPEX, Change Control, CAPA
To follow the safety standards and properly handle refrigerants, often referenced via HVAC resources.
To follow the safety at all times in work place.
2 For Clean Utilities: -
To follow the SOPs for clean utility generation/operation and monitor clean utility generation, storage, and distribution loops (WFI, PW, clean steam, compressed air).
To operate and monitor clean utility generation, storage, and distribution loops (WFI, PW, clean steam, compressed air).
To execute routine chemical, sanitization and regeneration procedures to maintain microbial control.
To record logs, work orders, and data integrity parameters strictly following current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
To support sampling protocols and coordinate with Quality Control (QC) teams for water testing and validation.
To Coordinate with technical team to resolve mechanical or operational issues with pumps, loops, and generation equipment.
To coordinate/execute Clean utilities related jobs related to CAPEX, Change Control, CAPA
To carry- out the corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and change control related action points.
To follow the safety at all times in work place.
3 For Electrical & DG:
To perform routine preventive and breakdown maintenance on production machinery, motors, and low-tension (LT) power distribution panels.
To diagnose and fix issues with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), sensors, relays, and control circuits to reduce downtime.
To check and record readings for power utilities like generators, transformers, and Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS)
To follow the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) rules, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and safety guidelines at all times in work place.
To coordinate/execute Electrical and Electonics jobs related to CAPEX, Change Control, CAPA
To maintain detailed logs of all repairs, inspections, and parts used under the above system operations
4 For Calibration & Maintenance:
To Plan, Schedule and execute Calibration of instruments in Process Equipment, HVAC, Utilities and QC
To Coordinate with supplier for Calibration of instruments in Process Equipment, HVAC, Clean Utilities, Micro and QC.
To coordinate & execute of all Third-Party Calibration and Documentation.
To support/prepare of SOPs with respect to Calibration, System and operating SOPs
To coordinate/execute instrumentation and control jobs related to CAPEX, Change Control, CAPA
To prepare/verify all calibration reports and updates labels on the Instruments.
Assist to execute maintenance of process/utility equipments and instruments in Biotechnology plants.
To support with daily log, system data/maintenance data for system analysis, as daily reporting of all the above systems, wherever applicable.
To support with data for Spares, Consumables and Chemicals management
Requirements (Knowledge, Skills & Attributes)
1. Diploma / ITI in mechanical, Chemical, Electrical Sections, as a fresher.
2. Relevant certifications/credentials like an EPA refrigerant certification.
3. Ability to lift heavy parts, climb ladders, and work in tight or extreme weather spaces.
4. Strong understanding of electrical circuits, schematics, and mechanical troubleshooting.
5. Good Spoken and Written English Communication
6. Good Analytical/learning Skills
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
