Key Responsibilities:
Procurement & Sourcing:
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for composite materials, resins, fibers, adhesives, and consumables.
- Issue purchase requisitions, RFQs, and purchase orders in alignment with company policies.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors to optimize cost and quality.
- Supplier & Vendor Management :
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships for long-term collaboration.
- Monitor vendor performance in terms of quality, delivery, and compliance.
- Ensure suppliers meet AS9100, aerospace/defense, and company-specific quality standards.
- Inventory & Material Management:
- Track inventory levels and coordinate with stores to prevent shortages or overstock.
- Support MRP (Material Requirement Planning) and ensure Just-in-Time (JIT) procurement for critical projects.
- Liaise with production, quality, and engineering teams to align procurement with project schedules.
- Compliance & Documentation :
- Ensure procurement documentation complies with internal processes, ISO/AS9100, and customer requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, agreements, and vendor certifications.
- Handle import/export documentation for specialized composite materials as required.
- Cost & Process Optimization
- Support cost reduction initiatives through alternate sourcing, bulk buying, or strategic procurement.
- Assist in developing procurement strategies for aerospace and defense projects.
- Continuously improve procurement processes for efficiency and reliability.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in procurement/supply chain, preferably in aerospace, defense, or advanced composites manufacturing.
- Knowledge of composite materials, aerospace raw materials, and manufacturing consumables is an advantage.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems, MS Excel, and procurement tools.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
- Understanding of import/export procedures, INCOTERMS, and customs clearance (preferred).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment with attention to detail.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
