About the Role
We are hiring a Head of Engineering for a fast-growing technology company building cloud-native software products for global markets. This role reports directly to the CTO and is ideal for an experienced engineering leader who can scale high-performing teams, drive technical strategy, and establish an AI-first engineering culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Frontend, Backend, DevOps, Infrastructure, and QA teams.
- Define engineering strategy, architecture, and delivery processes.
- Build and mentor engineering managers and senior engineers.
- Drive AI-assisted software development across the engineering organization.
- Improve engineering quality, scalability, security, and delivery metrics.
- Partner with the CTO and cross-functional leaders to execute business goals.
- Establish best practices for software architecture, CI/CD, testing, and engineering operations.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience.
- Minimum 3 years in an Engineering Manager, Head of Engineering, or similar leadership role.
- Experience managing engineering teams of 10+ members.
- Strong hands-on background in Full Stack Development.
- Expertise with React, TypeScript, Node.js, APIs, Microservices, and Cloud Platforms (AWS preferred).
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, and distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience using AI development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Gemini.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
