- Conduct patient assessments and obtain detailed medical histories
- Assist in diagnosing skin, hair, and nail disorders
- Perform minor dermatologic procedures (e.g., biopsies, cryotherapy, suturing) under supervision
- Assist in cosmetic dermatology treatments when applicable
- Prescribe medications as permitted by regulations
- Educate patients on treatment plans and skin care routines
- Maintain accurate medical records and follow-up documentation
- Ensure infection control and safety standards
- Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Dermatology experience preferred
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and patient-care abilities
- Knowledge of dermatologic conditions and treatments
- Attention to detail
- Procedural skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with dermatologists and healthcare teams
